Hi, I’m Kela.
“key-luh”
I’m an NCIDQ certified interior designer with a eight-year background specializing in healthcare and workplace design. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about merging aesthetics with functional considerations to create spaces that inspire. Throughout my career at top design firms such as EwingCole and Perkins&Will, I’ve had the privilege of working with top tier healthcare institutions including NYU Langone Health, Northwell Health, New York Presbyterian, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
My passion lies in transforming clinical environments into inviting, human-centered spaces that support healing and comfort. I understand that design goes far beyond aesthetics—it's about creating environments that reduce stress, promote well-being, and improve the experience for patients, families, and staff alike.
Outside of the professional realm, yoga keeps me grounded and balanced. On sunny days you'll often find me drawing and painting outdoors, soaking in inspiration from nature. I've called Brooklyn home for the past seven years and love exploring the neighborhood, trying new restaurants and sipping wine at the local haunts.
Driven by a love for exploration and creativity, I look forward to bringing my unique point of view to the built environment with a commitment to growth, connection, and making a positive impact in the world.
