The Goldman Health Care Pavilion, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is a cutting-edge 15-floor, 200,000-square-foot outpatient complex that combines world-class medical care with the warmth and comfort of a “tactile home.” Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood’s residential character, the building’s design features rich, thoughtful details and a welcoming atmosphere, creating a space where patients and families feel cared for at every step.
Home to 11 floors of clinical practices and 3 floors of academic physician office space, the Pavilion is anchored by the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, offering comprehensive oncology services, including treatment for breast, gastrointestinal, colorectal, gynecologic, head and neck, neurosurgical, thoracic, and urologic cancers. The Pavilion also offers a full range of services beyond oncology, including cardiac care, neuroscience, imaging, lab testing, holistic wellness, and support for both acute and chronic disease management.
The Goldman Health Care Pavilion is designed with a commitment to WELL Certification, prioritizing the health and well being of both patients and staff. By integrating natural light, air quality, and biophilic design, the space fosters a healing environment that supports physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
In addition to patient-centric design, the Pavilion emphasizes standardized exam rooms to streamline efficient care. Thoughtfully designed staff spaces are integral to reducing burnout and help retain top talent and encourages collaboration across disciplines.
